I love the bone tool in Flash CS4. I don’t know how I lived without it before. That alone is worth the upgrade to CS4!

So true! I’m constantly amazed when I watch people just “next, next, next” through installations. And it’s not just the uninitiated doing this – people who have a lot of computer experience too. In fact, they are (read: I am) probably the worst offenders! I will make a better effort to not be part of this problem. Thanks for the reminder.

The volumes of data required by media students combined with the lack of budget do result in a category of people who could well do with online backup but find it financially unviable. One other possibility is to look to general online storage such as a basic Amazon serice. While this may strictly speaking move away from the business online backup advantags of schedules and point in time restore it does at least offer what a portable hard drive does and with far less risk.
Portable drives are a disaster waiting to happen. A bit like carrying your life savings on person instead of keeping it in the bank.
